Scott Cooper

Scott Cooper was born in Toronto and graduated from the Ontario College of Art. His career as an illustrator has included work in advertising, educational publishing, animation, comics and CD design. His fine art work includes painting in oil, acrylic, watercolour and egg tempera, as well as drawing and printmaking.

Since 2001 he has taught drawing, painting and cartooning to children and adults at the Mississauga Valley School of Art, the Art Gallery of Ontario, Barry Coombs Studio, the Neilson Park Creative Centre and Visual Arts Mississauga. He also plays banjo and guitar, and performs frequently with Lost Pilgrims and the Doug Alcock Band.

Scott’s work for DCC includes The Fitzroy and The Adventures of Kirkwood and Driver, which features in the forthcoming Reddin.
